| Im trying 2 install vista clean install nd every time i get the boot manager ramdisk device creation failed due 2 insufficient memory i just bought a 160 gb. Hard drive any help appreciated |

| You didn't mentioned whether your new HD is SATA or EIDE. SATA hard drive may require drivers in order to work. Had you tried the format hard drive option during installation? Also, is your Vista DVD an actual DVD from Microsoft or OEM, or is it a burn copy? If is a burn copy, there's a possibility that it's bad. What are the complete specs of your PC?
