After installing Vista 20GB from my 320GB hdd disappeared

Like in a topic of a post - I reinstalled my Windows Vista on my HP Notebook. Before reinstallation I had 320GB disk, but after I installed my new Vista Windows sees only 300GB of this hdd. Why? Any ideas how to "find" these 20GB of hdd?

This is due to 'formatted space'... Approximately 7% is lost when windows formats the drive: 320GB x 93% = 300GB so it's completely normal
