problems

I am new to this site. I have one major problem and do not know if it is virus caused or some other thing. I spend a lot of time writing letters in Microsoft Works, then copying and pasting into my e-mail. Several weeks ago, when I tried to Paste, it shut down my e-mail. How do I correct it, or does it require a shop technician?

I doubt that it would require a technician, but t would help if you tell us which email client you are using, as there are many out there. Also, can you send and receive email, or it just happens when you try to paste your article? Can you paste your article on another program, not on your email, but to Wordpad or Notepad?

Thanks for your response. I use Windows Mail. Everything is normal until I paste, then it shuts down. I have used this method for a year with no problem.
I have not tried to use Notepad, etc. as I am not familiar with it.

The best advice I can give you is to uninstall Windows Live and reinstall using the Windows Live Essentials web site. You can also send an email to WindowsLive Support. I have requested help before and they have provided me with answers, so it’s worth the try.

By the way, if you decide to uninstall and reinstall Windows Live, you may want to give writer a try...it's a nifty application.
