| Upgrading VIsta Home Premium to Ultimate We are purchasing a laptop for my wife's nephew who lives in China. The laptop comes with Windows Vista Home Premium, but we were told that in order for my wife's nephew to have the capability to view Chinese we would need Windows Vista Ultimate. Two questions: 1) Is that true? 2) If so, do we just have to purchase an upgrade to Windows Vista Ultimate? Thank you! |

| As far as I know, Vista Ultimate does has the language packages as part of Windows Ultimate Extras, but I'm not sure if Chinese is one of them. You can read about the packages by going here: Windows Vista Ultimate language pack release information You can purchase a license and upgrade Home Premium to Basic.
