I have been using both 32-bit and 64-bit, downloaded from Technet, for quite awhile. I find both to be quite good. SP1 fixed my three recurring problems: the file copying problem; an intermittent communication problem between two computers on our network, and the so and so "is not responding" problem. I think those are the fixes that use ordinarily users will see most typically. Don't expect a noticeable speed increase. I have benchmarked SP 1 on two machines and found, at most, a barely measurable speed increase on the PassMark Performance Test.

Well I got 1 system my P5K system done it took about 1 hour to complete with about 87 mb total and upon pushing restart it takes the longest to install the update and that was it, only thing I had Zone Alarm asking for some new permission for Firefox and IE7 and a couple other thing other than that all went well. Goint to do the AMD system next to see how that goes. Looks like MS did good with the SP1 so far.

I saw this, but my concerns were that I read somewhere that it would install this way even if there were incompatabilities with drivers and this and that.
