A couple of things have to be done before you will see the temps.

run man sensors (from console) for more info.

from console as root, run 'sensors-detect'
cut and paste the output from that into /etc/init.d/boot.local (location depends on your distro)
reboot (a log in and log out might be enough)

After probing the sensors i get this on the console:

"Do you want to generate /etc/sysconfig/lm_sensors? (YES/no): y
Copy prog/init/lm_sensors.init to /etc/rc.d/init.d/lm_sensors
for initialization at boot time"

But i can't find this "prog/init/lm_sensors.ini"

lol yeah, i know that feeling but my problem is solved with GKrellm... it can be configured to show the temps, you just need to check the sensors you want.

follow swannema's instructions exactly as you see here:
Getting sensors to work in Linux

you do not need to find anything except /etc/init.d/boot.local , "sensors detect" does the rest for you.

After following swannema's guide you may want to look at using superkaramba and installing a "widget".
superkaramba: http://netdragon.sourceforge.net/ssuperkaramba.html

You get widgets /gadgets / plug-ins at kdelook:
http://www.kde-look.org/index.php?xcontentmode=38

btw, which distro are you using?

FearFactory, are you using the on board NIC ?

I found the transfer very slow using it with PCLinixOS, Ubuntu and Vista.

I fixed this by putting in a DLink pci card ...
