This could be a silly question I've been trying to install RH Linux v7.0 Everything seems to go fine, but Lilo does'nt install. Is it anything to do with "Intel boot agent" if so how do i switch it off. I haven't been able to find anything in the bios.

http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/mini/LILO.html You did not provide much info to go with. Is the system a multi-boot system? If so, what other OSes do you have on the box? Are you using any other boot loaders in the other OSes? I'm not sure but maybe the mini-HOWTO link will provide the answers to my questions to ya but hopefully that will be a starting point. Never heard of the Intel boot thingy. Sorry about that.

I'm trying to get the system to dual boot with Win98 (not SE) The Intel boot Agent loads just after POST The systems says it's found a hard drive and then "Intiallising Intel Boot Agent" then windows loads The HD is a Western Digital 10GB Note:- Ok I've found out what the boot agent is. It's part of my Network card. I'll try reading the info on the intel website......
