Command line shell I know this is a dumb question, but will Vista still maintain a command line dos shell?

Thank god for that. Even on XP as a support engineer the CLI was one of my most used tools, for a simple and fast interface for certain tasks. Thank you M$!

I think it took me 3 years of 98 before I stopped using the command line for most things. Of course I used dos for so many years before windows, it was just easier for me.

| I do not think your post has anything to do with vista and you should post it in the right forum.

Re: Command line shell That is not a dos prompt, this is a command line prompt. It has dos-compatible commands and also NTVDM 16-bit emulator allows you to run dos commands/utilities. However command line itself is a full-blown Windows tool.
