| Task manager has more information I love the new Task Manager. It has a few more features than it used to have. The thing I like best are the descriptions for each of the processes. Now I no longer have to guess at what an obscure process name is. Also the Performance tab has nice Resource Monitor button that opens up a new window with tons of info on the resources being used. Just thought I'd bring this to everyone's attention, in case they wanted to check it out.

| Re: Task manager has more information Do not forget, that while running as a standard user, Task manager does not display all the processes running in your system. That's strange comparing to Process Explorer (that you may find on Microsoft web site, that is former SysInternals utilities), which shows much more processes without admin privileges. However, processor usage is shown properly in Performance tab, so if you see 70% CPU usage there and only zeroes on the processes tab, then just remember to click Show processes from all users! |
