| Hi everyone: I'm explaining as simple as i can.. :welcome: I would like to move you in the ways off movie making. I have worked with movie maker and I like the simplicity of the interface and the ease off use... 1st. Choose photos or video files you want to import. On pictures you can make a nice slide show than even comparable to power point without consuming that much resources. On video files you can edit portions of video or portions of sound instead of placing beeps allover... 2nd. Once you have the files selected click the import box. A window popup with your selected files then you drag the files to the story board section and the boxes fills up with your selections. 3rd. Now comes the fun part, to add Transitions (an effect that occur from slide to slide) select transitions from the task menu and the transition windows appear with 4 to 6 transitions to choose from select one and preview it @ the preview window by cliking the play button. There are 65 transitions. 4th. Now comes the special effects that are define by a star @ the selection boxes @ the story board and preview them @ the preview window. That's all for now happy movie making..... |

| Thanks elguada. My computer to do list is so long I am flying a kite with it. But, I've added your idea. I used to make many movies, but haven't done so in a long time.

| Every body opinion is valid and I respect that but what's the point or purpose of this forum? We as a whole where here to test and give our opinion of the features of Vista before hand so we have a full understanding of the OS so then decide witch is best for us and at the same time other people will benefit from the info......I'm not a GURU nor even close to that. I'm just a person like everybody else with an opinion of something they like..... And Thanks for your honest opinions... |

| Hi elguada. Like you, I like the movie maker. I had a lot of fun with it recently. I just used regular pics to make a slick slide show. Thanks for letting everyone know about it.
