Most people already have a calendar of some sort (google, 30 boxes, outlook etc) and they are more manageable and can be viewed from any where in the world with a computer terminal.

Will I only find my appointment/diary entries in this calendar if I open the calendar or wil it automatically notify me of an event? I'm the forgetful type so I do need something like it.

I got to say a calendar application does not do much for me. I have had access to a myriad of calendars over the last 15 years, and the only one I ever used with any consistency was on my palm.

I guess I could use it, but I have never found myself really impressed with the depth of those MS throw in applications, for the most part.

Again I say, online calendars are becoming more appealing as they can be viewed and read from ANYWHERE in the world...

So am I. I even walk around with a small digital voice recorder to help me remember things after I think them.

Yes, I really do that. Hard to get? Where do you live? Here in the US, just go into any Circuit City or Best Buy or whatever your local electronics store is, and pick one up. Then I bought a cheap cell phone holder that fit it perfectly, so I can just clip it to my jeans pocket, so it's always with me. I mean, if it's not on my person, then it's useless to me when I have that "thought" that I shouldn't forget.

Having all your personal information like appointments, mail, documents, etc on someone elses server is appealing? No thanks.... I rather prefer to have everything on my own personal server.

Thanks daz. But, I already have a calendar; it's in my head. Good memory ya know.
