Exclamation Problem running WD?

Hello folks! I've found this forum looking for help in trying to figure out why I can't get Windows Defender to run on my Compaq Presario SR 1550NX/ XP machine?

I had installed and used this program successfully many times before, but now, it won't work!

I've uninstalled it and reinstalled the updated version and this is what I keep getting:

I'm sure I'm doing this right... I've got it working fine on another PC I have.

Anyone know a quick fix to this?

Thanks, -GK

According to reports of others who've had this problem, you need to delete a file called MSASCui.exe.manifest, located in the c:\program files\windows defender folder. Let us know if that solves your problem.
