Trying New Security Approach on Laptop

Lol, well Znod, you will be pleased to know I am only concerned with incoming packets This is simply due to the fact that I know my system is virus free, so nothing can report back any of my details.

My connection is always on with a fixed IP and more than 1 PC connected to it at all times, so hackers scare me the most.

I only have 2 ports open in and out anyway (and you can guess what one of them is ). But those 2 ports are logged and monitored. Every week I sift through the log for any 'attempts'.

Thanks crabby. I too am more concerned about incoming. But, my concern level about outgoing has increased since I have put defender in charge of malware and spyware.
