Tried increasing it in your bios? Usualy f2, f10 or delete gets you in to your bios as soon as you switch on your computer. From there it should be easy! crabby

I have looked at the manual for your laptop and it has no information about the bios. So I am basically blind All I can say is HAPPY HUNTING! I have never heard of a notebook with an integrated chip being unable to change the memory assigned to it crabby

Hmm... if it is greyed out then maybe its hardlocked? Contact Gateway to find out I suppose? Or you could download the updated bios from their website? That may help crabby
