| Why does Vista hate Wireless ? Hi guys Stumbled on this site via google. Looks good, I'll be coming back to pick up hints..... Got my copy of Vista Ultimate via Partner Programme and have it installed on a DELL Latitude and DELL Dimension at the minute. Both computers were running XP previously and had working wireless connections. Now, It reports 'an issue' with my Belkin desktop Adaptor on the PC. No new drivers seem to be available and 'looking for a solution' comes back with nothing (when I've got a wired connection in place to troubleshoot). Have you guys had the same issues with your Wireless adaptors? Any advice on how I can get around this? Cheers in Advance. |

| Like Craby mentioned, you can download the latest Win XP driver and run it under Win XP SP2 compatibility...that should work. I just wanted to add that to be on the safe side, you should go to the Device Manager and Uninstall the adapter before installing the new driver. I have solved a few issues going that route, rather than installing the new driver without uninstalling the old one. Right click Computer > Properties > Device Manager

| My 2wire USB adapter crashes my Laptop. I called 2Wire and they recommended to download the latest Win XP driver, which I always make sure of, but as far as they know there's no fix as of now. The built-in wireless connection works well, but is not as fast as the 2Wire one. I called ATT Uverse and they gave me two extra adapters and still get the same results, they work but as soon as I try to turn the Laptop off, it crashes instead.

| I seem to have alot of trouble with Belkins networking products. My wireless NIC in my desktop PC thats made by Belkin is very picky and likes to disconnect randomly from the router while the others maintain a connection. |
