| OK ? or something bad? I boot up my computer today and noticed my web pages loading very slowly. I am on a HSI broadband connection and normal downloads run betwee 9.5 and 11 Mb. After running some tests that determined the speeds were OK --- modem signals were where they normally are, I noticed a little green icon at the bottom of the page . Clicking on it - it says "checking for phishing". I suppose thats ok -- but when I turned it off -- my web pages go back to loading at their normal speeds. So the neophyte asks --- OK thing? or bad thing? I am not a power user and my browsing activity is pretty much limited to sites I am use to and trust. ![]() |

| Microsoft is aware of the issue with the phishing utility. It's supposed to be fixed early next week through windows update. |
