an anagram for "Monad"

Honestly I don't know anything about Vista's Monad, but it occurred to me an anagram for "Monad" could be "o damn". Wonder if that will turn out to be prophetic! I like the power of command line interfaces, but sometimes they're dangerous. :eek:

So....it's like Command.com? Or is it something kind of like linux that you can do everything with....you need a better description than "Command Line interface"

Thats what I dont get. There is little use for a command prompt in windows anymore as most options (even admin stuff) has a graphical interface! I would suggest that command used with this Monad could be;

Network related - manual port configs etc
Security related - scripts used to control networked systems etc
Networked installation scripts

Basically anything an admin would want to do... and for people with no mouse and the inability to use tab

Actually Nomad would had been a great feature for Vista, but there were too many holes to patch and Microsoft decided not to implement it with Vista. As opposed to command prompt that uses text, Nomad allows use of objects. I think it's available in Exchange Server 2007.

anagram for monad

I'm just learning about Monad, seems pretty powerful but from what I've read isn't good across netoworks, works better if your running only locally.

If your into "services" then another anagram would be "damon"
