Burning question.

Hey all,
I finally needed to burn a large amount of data to disk. 7.54GB to be exact. Figured it was time to try burning a double-layer DVD disk which my old Plextor seems capable of doing. I went to WalMart (nearest) and they don't carry them. Looked online and wow are they expensive. Has anyone played with these double layer DVD's yet?

Re: Burning question.

I use them periodically, but only when putting the data on two single layer discs is inconvenient. Personally I think they are gouging us on the dual layer discs. They've been around for a very long time now. There is no reason to keep the price up like it is except to discourage pirating of DVD movies. But seriously, what is the point of that? They are pirated left right and centre on single layer discs.

Re: Burning question.

I recommend Verbatim DL disks highly reliable.
