|  I am having continued CRC Errors, when copying things from my network or installing from CDROM, on win 98se and Win NT 4 WKS. Have tried on both IDE channels, with both my Hard drives. Tried with and without the Intel ATA Drivers. Tried turning off all windows caching. Going to try 60gb drive in another machine. Any Ideas? I am losing my mind try to find out what the prob is. Im starting to think that there is a problem with the IDE controller. I just sent a 45gb DiamondMax Plus back as if had a SMART Error. Setup: ASUS CUSL2 (1006a) Prophet GTS II 64meg 512mb Mem 60gb 7200 Maxtor DiamondMax 6800 Plus (5T060H6) 3gb Quantum Fireball |
