| Driver installation trouble I recently upgraded to vista from xp, and I cant install new gfx drivers because it doesnt recognize vista. I get an error msg stating "these drivers are for vista, this system doesnt have vista" but I deffinitely do have vista. I've installed the xp ones multiple times, so I went ahead and tried again out of curiosity, and I get the same error message, except saying I do not have xp. Also, can someone link me a good free computer tweak program or website, I would be really gratefull, thanks |

| Re: Driver installation trouble You won't get much help if you don't tell us what your system specs are! if it,s an nvidia gfx card that might be your problem not vista.

| Re: Driver installation trouble Ya, I'm retarded. Uninstalling the old drivers and restarting the computer enabled me to dl the drivers i needed for vista. Although device manager doesnt show any device that need updated, all appears fine there, but when i restart my computer, the mobo and gfx card dont reboot and I think it's because I need to update either NVIDIA nForce PCI System Management or NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller but I cant seem to find them anywhere to dl :x I have the Gigabyte GA-M56S-S3 for AMD socket AM2, and I have duel AMD processors. |
