HD TACH Benches What I do wrong?

Twin WDC Raptors on Intel RAID Controller in a p4c800 e deluxe.

Disk 0 is my Western Digital 60gig on the primary ide controller.

Disk 1 is the array.

WTH is up with the up and down read on the array? Why isn't it a smooth curve?

Check my sig for more info.

Halp!

That looks normal. Head seeks, latency and such. Your access times and burst speeds are comparable to mine. You can run multiple tests and they will vary from one to another, and a lot depends on your disk fragmentation, and where files are physically located on the drives.

Funky.

I posted before I dug too deep into this section of the forum, something I find myself doing more often lately. Guess I'm gettin lazy.

I finally came across some pics of hdtach benchies that were worse than mine, so I'm not too worried now.

Thanks for the quick reply btw.
