Greetings,

I'm hoping this is something simple. I have an Iomega Parallel ZIP drive. I insert a ZIP disk, copy data, then remove the disk (either by right click Eject or hitting the button, same results). When I go to shutdown (or reboot) my system, I get a blue screen that says "Error Reading Disk in Drive E, Please insert disk named ZIP100, Press ENTER to continue or ESC to exit".

Does anybody have a workaround for this?
Thanks,
Tim Z

This is not an uncommon problem, however, it is usually random and not very frequent.

Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > System > Device Manager (Tab) > Disk Drives > IOMEGA ZIP 100

Select Properties > Settings (Tab), some systems prefer Disconnect, Removable and Auto Insert Notification to be checked.

Good Luck.
