I have a couple questions. First:

CUSL2-C
PIII 733MHz
Windows 98 first ed.
256MB Ram
ATI Radeon 64MB DDR
CL SB Live! Value
Maxtor 20GB UDMA 66
TDK Velocd 12/10/32
Toshiba DVD

My first question is that while I have the Microsoft Intellimouse Optical USB (connected to the USB port) and no other devices connected besides my keyboard, Winders98 still detects and installs a Microsoft PS/2 Mouse along with my USB mouse, and reporting the PS2 one in device properties as not functioning correctly. I can remove it and Winders automatically detects it next reboot.

The second question is that my TDK burner will not let me change it to DMA in device properties, even though it is set up so in the bios. But, my Toshiba WILL accept DMA mode.

Any thoughts appreciated and email is cool.

Yes, but I've tried enabled AND auto...both of which do the same thing. I've deleted the PS2 from device manager and changed from auto to Enabled and Windows still installed the PS2.
