| RAID0 or not ? Hello, Quick question ... Below is my current setup; Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHz XFX 6800GT 256Mb Creative Audigy 2 ZS Abit IC7-Max3 OCZ 1Gb kit EL DDR pc-3200 2x WD Raptor 36.7GB S-ATA RAID0 Maxtor DiamondMax S-ATA 120GB Plextor PX-708A Plextor PX-116A I will update it with the following parts; HIS ATI Radeon HD 4850 512MB GDDR3 OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-6400C5 DDR2 Enermax Modu 82+ 525W Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 "Energy Efficient SLACR 95W Edition" 2.40GHz (1066FSB) Asus P5Q Pro Intel P45 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 I have 3 partitions on my current setup (BOOT, Games and Data) and one extra HHD for backup. Now I'm wondering if I should keep the RAID0 setup or just use 2 seperate drives? Does it in fact make a difference for my usage, mostly games ? Thx |
