| Raptor formating / security question I can't tell if this question best belongs in this forum or the security forum. Mods, please do as you will with this thread. I have this Raptor 150 drive sitting around that used to be in a previous computer. this hard drive back at the time suffered a nasty trojan infection. I think I got it cleaned up. But in these days of polymorphic malware, who can be sure. So, I am thinking I would like to use this Raptor as a dedicated pagefile / temp file drive in my current gaming rig. But before I add this drive to the system I want to feel fairly certain it is a clean drive. Considering the previous trojan, do you folks think if I partition and format it I should be ok / good to go? Or should I use the Western Digital software to first write zeros to the entire drive and then partition and format?

| Re: Raptor formating / security question I'd use WD lifeguard diagnostic tool to write zero's to the drive just to be sure. Downloads
