| Anyone aware of any SCSI Cards that WILL work on the CUSLC-2 and allow it to go into standby/hibernate ? I have a Adaptec 2940AU and it won't work in WinME, but does work under Win2K. It only needs to be fast enough to support my Zip100 and scanner. No HD's attached. Also, anyone seeing really odd stuff w/ BIOS 1006 B3? I have a Hollywood card that will not work in any slot now (well it works, but apparantly has some conflict w/ the ACPI drivers, and causes the hibernate function to not show up at all - of course I can't use it because of my SCSI card, but it would at least show up). Thanks,

| Gidday Having similar problems myself. When I attemp to go into " standby " in Win Me, get the message that basically Adaptec AHA2940U2 can't / won't power down. Windows 2000 will go into suspend for 3-4 minutes and then restart. Hibernate woorks just fine. Previously had an ASUS P3V4x with NO PROBLEMS running Win2000 or ME. Emailed both ASUS and Intel a couple of weeks ago with the usual NO REPLY POLICY. Let me know if you find a solution please !!!!!!!!! Also would mention that SSSandra locks Win2ooo, only way out is to re-boot ASUS CUSL2-C Bios 1006-3 Adaptec 2940U2 with 3 SCSI drives Seagate 20Gig ATA66 ASUS V7100 .......... and the list goes on and on minersbay@hotmail.com |

| Generaly speaking scsci cards are designed for servers. And you don't want a server hybernating or going to standby would you?

| I found a solution for my problem. The Adaptec AVA-2906 allows all modes of PowerManagement. But, I am only running a zip100 and a scanner from the card, not hard-drives. Scott Newman
