Windows 7 Build 6801 Leak

( Now I dont know if posting threads like this is illegal on the forums, be happy to remove this if so guys. My bad either way )

Theres been a leak for some time now:

Im installing it now on a Virtual PC. You need to enable the new superbar along with some some of the hidden features manually once you get in. From what I heard this was leaked when Microsoft lent a copy of Vista to some news groups which in turn handed it over to the world. Ill put some screenies up once im done messing with it.

Heres a link to the torrent where i recieved it:

Microsoft.Windows.7.32Bit.Build.6801.DVD-WinBeta (download torrent) - TPB

It gets some good seeds too I got like 50 running at 200kb+

Re: Windows 7 Build 6801 Leak

Installed this morning and seems very stable for a Beta version . Never had to install a driver or anything on a Intel 875 chip set board. I'll have to search for the hidden goodies.

But from what I've been hearing - the guts are much better optimized.

Re: Windows 7 Build 6801 Leak

The superbar looks ugly, I hope they change it to something more aesthetically appealing by the time it hits RTM.

Re: Windows 7 Build 6801 Leak

Eh, I've tried several times, but haven't been able to get an upload rate > 32kB/sec Guess I'll have to wait and hope I can get the one of the RCs.
