You're thinking of syncmaster kONGO. patentman was not banned. They are both from Greece though...

Come to think of it, I miss that Greek guy along with a few others mentioned here...

D'oh, you're so very right. My apologies to everyone. I've edited the post to reflect the truth.

Brainfarts...gotta love 'em!

Thanks for thinking of me friends!
I am still here, though not so frequent, MASSES of work, takes too much time from the moments in life I like - like enjoying your company here on AB!

And as Thendar says, sunshine and summer takes some time as well. The boat is finally in the lake now. But the weatherman says the midsummer weather here in Sweden might be thunderstorms...

I miss too many to mention - since I came here near the beginning of the site I've seen many come and go...a number of them I was honered to call friends.
Being a mod for so long alowed me to have many conversations with these people outside the realm of posting in the forums.

As it is in real life - people move in and out of our lives - enjoy them while they're here.

It was stupid I thought....he got mad because of somebody being immature and arguing with him in a thread and decided that this was no different than the other boards or something like that.

Too bad...he was a character. Quite a funny guy.

Lightbulb good point !

... that's why I don't like to argue, unless I'm facing the person sitting next to me live !

I really haven't been here long enough to miss anyone, but I have often wondered what happened to patentman who started the longest thread in this (or maybe any) forum. Last post was almost 6 months ago and the one before that was another 6 months. I'll bet he didn't know what he was starting that first time he said good night.
