That's not a good reason for swannema to not hang out in the tech forums.

as long as you asked...

I usually run 3-5 rigs full time at home...it changes depending on what I'm doing.
I find that backing up the folding folder can save you if you are trying to clock too high - you can lose the unit you're working on if it isn't stable...

Are you sure that works?

I tried that one time. My WU got corrupted after a crash at 2300/2500 and would restart from 0/2500. So I replaced it with a copy of the folder made shortly before the crash.. Instead of continuing with the 260 pointer which was almost done, or restarting it, it would trash the "good" restored WU and download a new one. I tried several times since the new download would always be a 40 pointer. I gave up.

I do miss him too.....

Whenever someone had problem with linux, swannema was there and solved it.

Whenever swannema had something new about linux to tell, i always read his post but wasn´t able to answer most of the time (to high sophisticated for an occasional linux user like i am).

ABXzone going too non-tech??

I ignored the OT section for a long time when i enterd ABXzone (Cusl2-C.com in those days). Now i check it occasionally, but i never thought that there´s too much of it.

Greetings

Dru

Thanks for the tip Monkey Hanger!

It was obvious that swannema would be in some of the linux forums out there (Suse Linux in this case).

Greetings

I hope swanny comes back here.

Or at least stop by once in a while.
