Hey all

I've still been in and out of the site here, not as often as I'd like to be. My "Heart Failure, liver problem, back problem, fighting the Veterans Affairs for disablity and Social Security Disability has kept me fairly tied up. Needless to say the pressures of the holidays coming up.

At least they prescribed me some good'ole "Zanax" 1mg 3x/day now.

Hate to see the bickering going on in house, but it's bound to happen at one time or another.

Have fun, my Dad's been fighting the Veterans Affairs for disability since about 1997 and still hasn't gotten anything out of them. He got out of Army back in the 60's on a medical discharge, and most of his medical and service records have gone mysteriously missing in the past 8 years, which has me wondering if the Army and the Veterans Affairs have something to hide and know why he was discharged on a medical.

As for the prayers; I know "RELIGIOUS" talk is sorta a taboo in forums but, (by no means do I intend to offend anyone here of a different faith) a recent book, 'THE PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE" by Rick Warren has REALLY helped me deal with what's going on. It's also rejuvenated my quest to know GOD better and to try to understand the "BIG PICTURE". The VA is actually a great group but they have been plagued with $$$ woes. The budget they planned for was NO WHERE the amount needed for the amount of new vets coming outta the two war fronts.
