Best Episode yet I think. I fell for it and actually believed what Boone thought. I was pretty much swearing at the TV for the last few minutes till the end. Dang that Locke guy is pretty trippy.

John Locke is becoming the strongest character in LOST.

I think the compass is being thrown askew by a magnetic field of some sort on the island. Say the type of field created by an electric generator. That is just my guess. Did you see in the previews the polar bear makes a comeback next week?

Great. I missed the Polar Bear.

He should have a bigger weekly role. Maybe team up with Locke.

I think the fake death was done well. At least they were different kinds of death. John Locke gives hints to people the hard way. The compass was one of the hints he gave. He didn't say to Sayid directly that a compass was inoperational in this island. He just gave one to him and said it wasn't useful for him and let Sayid find out by himself. Boone was another person that Locke gave a hard hint as the main highlight in this episode.

Locke seems interestingly aware of things of the island. It seems he knew of what would happen to Boone. Locke seems possessed of many premonitions. Think back to the first episodes and recollect that Locke had a one-on-one encounter with the Monster.

funny extra

I don't watch the TV show Alias but somebody who does watch both Alias and LOST pointed this out to me....

if anyone watched Alias after last nights episode of LOST they noticed an interesting TV "extra"...during a scene in Alias at a birthday party there is some music playing in the background...the music is "You All Everybody" by Driveshaft...that is the song that Charlie used to sing on LOST with his old band, Driveshaft...

since both shows are written by JJ Abrams it was no surprise to see a sort of cross promotion involving both Alias and LOST

He was the first to benifit from the island when he stood up out of his wheel chair. He understands it first hand...

And that episode to me was the best one of all the LOST episodes.

The "magic" of the island ---> to shed that which is the bad, undesireable, and restrictive trait possessed and uncontrollable by the visiting castaway.

Did the boars really migrate out or was it just his excuse? They shot one polar bear in one of the earlier episodes. I wonder if they ate it.

anyone notice that almost every episode runs longer then an hour...usually the show goes from 8:00-9:01...but the last episode ran from 8:00-9:02..I'm not complaining

and for all those people looking for all the answers to be revealed...sorry but...we're not going to get all the answers for a long long time..otherwise the show would be over next week..be happy that the show is as good as it is, if there were no more questions left to be answered then there would be no point in watching the show...I'm just hoping that the writers of the show know all the answers before they started posing all the questions and are not just making it up as they go along

**I remember The X-Files started out really good but then became almost unwatchable towards the end cuz they were obviously just making it all up as they went along instead of having a clear long term plan of where the series was headed...by the end of the series there were still hundreds of questions left unanswered and they never gave us loyal fans the payoff we were promised for years

they definitely did not migrate out....Locke was just using that as an excuse to cover up the fact that he is not even out hunting for boar anymore but instead focusing all his efforts on trying to open up that hatch in the ground...the only other thing that it could be is that the boars are no longer in the area cuz the big monster thing is eating all of the boars or scaring them away

Boone was on Last Call tonight.
