I really like the way the plots are put together. The story does not move very fast but it's far from boring. Unlike 24, Lost has fewer action scenes but still always keeps you wondering what would happen next.

I agree This is the best new "network" show that has kept my interest. I just hope ABC will stick this one out, they have a history of dropping a show the minute ratings seem to fall off. I would certainly hate to invest my time into this show and it suddenly get cancelled with no resolution to the story !!

I'm still enjoying it. Since I tape it so I can watch Smallville, I now have a Wed. night date with my girlfriend to watch Lost on the bedroom VCR - Whoo Hoo!

What's that monster moving in her bushes?

The race for quality has no finish line- so technically, it's more like a death march.

I use TiVo to record most shows that I want to watch . Best of all I can skip through all the commercials if it is a broadcast TV show. Takes 40 minutes to watch a show instead of wasting an hour. I can also pause it at anytime if something comes up. Ok... end of the TiVo commercial !!!

Not sure if they are repeating again on Saturday night, I think that was only for the first 2 hour episode. Normally it's on Wed 8/7central on ABC.

You can setup the Tuner to do scheduled recordings. At least, I can with mine.

I can relate to this conflict.

Here's my solution --->

I download Smallville instead of taping it. That way I can watch it in High Definition TV on the computer moniter. No one uploads Lost so that one I tape on the analog TV.

The Smallville downloads cut the commercials out.

I am missing some good commercials !!!
