Spoiler: great episode tonight!!!...loved the whole Desmond flashback/time travel point of view...and the ending where Desmond tells ******* that he is gonna die really made me happy...hopefully one of the most boring characters on the show will soon bite the dust

That's why I'm disappointed. Tonight's episode was a Desmond episode, and the arctic station, which was a season ending cliffhanger and Desmond related, has still not made a re-appearance. Did the LOST writers just forget what they wrote as the cliffhanger? ![]() __________________ Visit and chat with the Buds at the #ABxZone channel on EFnet Internet Relay Chat If you don't have it then download mIRC from www.mIRC.com | |

Tonight was boring for me too. You didn't have to spend an hour proving Desmond can see into the future. I get it. Move on. The olnly real revelation is where he said he was protecting *************. Losing patience here with episodes written to expand on later, rather than adressing issues that have been lingering for three years. One of the previews is about Jack and his ink. Who cares where they came from. How about explaining the thing that killed Eko. Who cares how the others got on the island. How about explaining the polar bears!

if we had all the answers the show would be over with!!...the questions and mysteries are what keep the show going...I'm sure they'll get around to explaining everything when the time is right...meanwhile have faith and enjoy the ride!! and if you read the spoilers in my previous post then you'll see that there are a lot of big answers coming up this season and spookyload...I totally disagree with you in terms of not caring about the Others...in my opinion that is the BEST part of the show...finding out more about them, how they got to the island(s), DHARMA, Widmore, the hatches, etc etc are what keep me hooked on the show... -"why do you find it so hard to believe"---John Locke to Jack want some more big spoilers... Spoiler:

After seeing the new episode, I figured this is what they might do. So Desmond winds up a few years in the past. The scene where he is talking to his friend the professor in the bar and explains everything, being stuck on the island, pushing the button and the electromagnetic pulse that destroyed the hatch. So history repeats itself - Desmond disappears while racing his boat. What if by this point the professor finally believes Desmond was telling the truth about what had happened to him and he was stranded on this island with the plane crash survivors? What if the professor in order to save his friend, Desmond, tells Penny the whole story. They would need to now the location of the island in order for the rescue. They know the date when Desmond disappeared. They wait until in the news the plane is reported missing and no wreckage or survivors found. So at that point, they know the survivors are on the island with Desmond. They (Penny and the professor) setup the listening station, because they know the electromagnetic pulse that destroys the hatch is going to happen. They are waiting for it to try to use it to locate the island. (Well that's my theory). ![]()

I just heard on the radio for enertainment news - "What would you Lost fans do if ABC cancelled Lost and never revealed the big secrets? This might happen as the ratings for Lost had dropped to about 2 million from the previous episode." I can't say that I'm surprised. One of the network's blunders that cause a show to get cancelled is to take it off the air for a long period of time - and Lost was off the air for what, 2-3 months? Another is to play musical chairs and move the show around all over the place so viewers can't find when the show is airing. ABC also did this by changing the time slot - granted one hour later, but still that screws up my Wednesday night tv viewing. I have one HD tv tuner on my pc so I can watch OTA HD channels. On Wednesday night I watch 8:00PM - Bones, 9:00 PM - Lost, 10:00 PM - Medium - all on HD. Now that ABC in all of its wisdom moved Lost to 10:00PM, at 9:00 PM there is nothing to watch, then at 10:00PM I watch Lost and I have to tape medium to watch later. The strange thing is NBC (on cable) broadcasts Medium as widescreen but the picture is cut for a 4:3 screen, so the left and right sides are cut off. Not so OTA, you get the whole picture. So, thanks to ABC, I get to watch a butchered Medium. Also to fill in the now blank 9:00PM timeslot, what does ABC do? They air last weeks Lost episode - Brilliant!! Then there's the show it self. They keep adding new "secrets" and revealing only a handfull. They're really stretching things out. Some fans have gotten fed up over this and stop watching the show. (I have to emit that I'm getting fed up with Lost because they are stretching things out.) No wonder the ratings are dropping. If ABC did cancel Lost, I wouldn't have a problem with that, as long as they revealed all of the secrets and wrapped up the story.

Halfway through this past episode when Jack is in the cage, a group of "others" are observing him. A little girl asks a question. What was that question that made Jack upset? I couldn't make it out. ![]() __________________ Visit and chat with the Buds at the #ABxZone channel on EFnet Internet Relay Chat If you don't have it then download mIRC from www.mIRC.com

I missed it myself when I watched the episode but I read on article (recaping the episode) and they state the little girl asked about Anna Lucia which made Jack upset (because she is dead).

Thanks Shadow_Raven. Now that I know what was said, I clearly hear Cindy saying Anna Lucia. ![]() __________________ Visit and chat with the Buds at the #ABxZone channel on EFnet Internet Relay Chat If you don't have it then download mIRC from www.mIRC.com
