anyone watch Lost? - Page 51

some other observations about last night's episode:

the sceanario where Ben killed his father looked an awful lot like the same situation Ben put Locke in: Kill your dad and you can join us

So who are those "Hostiles"? Why were they fighting with the supposedly peace-loving Dharma folks? and if Richard was originally a "hostile" then why does he now work with the Dharma folks for?...why engage in a war with them only to know be friends with them?...what changed his mind?

why hasn't Richard aged in three decades?...he looks almost the same today as he did all those years ago when he encountered young Ben in the jungle...technically he should be a lot older then Ben now

The group that Richard and Ben are with are the "Hostiles", Dharma was purged.

A theory is that Jacob is the smoke monster, the ash was the smoke.

The island has more than healing powers. It provides longevity. I would bet Richard was on the Black Rock. Ben said to him "If you even remember what a birthday is."

If you look at the screen shot, it Jacob's clothes kind of look like something from the 1800's. I wonder if the island won't let him die, hence the "Help me"

-Richard was an original "hostile" but Ben was originally Dharma...after the purge the hostiles let more and more Dharma folk become part of their group (hence Ben bringing a lot of the current group over to the island, including Juliet)...my question is why would the hostiles initially battle the Dharma folks only to later on team with them...seems like quite the turnaround, one minute you are at war with them and another you are friends with them

-I've heard theories about the smoke monster being Jacob but I don't agree with that...the ash was in a complete circle surrounding the house Jacob was in and that usually has to do with keeping spirits trapped...although initially I thought that the ash was related to the volcano that the lady mentioned in the classroom..still active volcano?

-Richard being an original descendant of the Black Rock sounds plausible...when Richard was recruiting Juliet for Dharma his company name was Mittelos and apparently that is an anagram for lost time...that also might have something to do with Richard's lack of aging

Maybe the hostiles were treating Dharma like the Others are treating the Losties. Taking those that they considered "good"

What was the point of Charlie risking his life diving to the underwater station to turn off the power, when they could have cut the cable directly ont the beach ?

I'm really really excited about tonight's huge season finale of LOST...the episode promises to be a classic and according to the producers there is a MAJOR twist at the end which will have everyone talking all summer long

the cliffhanger has been talked about for weeks all over the internet...the more I hear about it the more I can't wait to see it
