| HOLY ****!!!!!! WOW!!! FREAKING WOW!!!! Now that's what it's like to sit on the edge of your seat for two hours...LOST just solidifed its position as the best and most inventive drama on network TV. Period so many amazing things happened...so many new questions... -the BIG twist---the flashbacks of Jack that we thought we were seeing were not really flashbacks at all, but rather flash-forwards!!!...Jack and Kate make it off the island!!!... -but how?...why is Jack so depressed and why does he want to go back to the island?...did all the castaways get rescued or only a few? -Who is this mystery person Future Kate is worried about being suspicious of her whereabouts? -Jack mentioned his father a few times as being alive...does this mean that he is not dead or was that just the ravings of a drunken man? -who's funeral was Jack attending that no one showed up for?... ** by the way the name of the funeral parlor- "Hoffs Drawlar" is an anagram for Flash Forward -is next season going to take place off island with Jack/Kate etc with the flashbacks now taking place on the island? (that would certainly be a total change of direction) -the whole rescue aspect changes the show around completely -I was never a big Charlie fan but damn his death was uber cool...I actually miss the dude now... -the now patch-less Mikhail was also cool last night...his damaged eye looked nasty/creepy...tapping on the glass with the grenade and then blowing it up was a classic...hopefully his miracle powers of survival will bring him back next season -Desmond seeing Penny and seeing Charlie scribble "not Penny's boat" was awesome -Tom aka Mr Friendly (my once favorite Other) was also killed  -so Naomi was not there to rescue them...so who does she work for?...Dharma?...Charles Widmore?...how did Penny's transmission get through to the Looking Glass station? -WALT!!!!....dang the kid looks so much older and his voice is much deeper as well -Rousseau and Alex reunion -Ben is losing the trust of his own people...looks like Richard Alpert or Locke might take over next season -Richard is taking the remaining Others to the "temple" we now have to wait until February 2008 for new episodes...awwww!!! *** I attached a screencap of the newspaper clipping of the funeral Jack was reading about...it's definitely a male (Ben?...Locke?...Sawyer?)

| The ending was slightly confusing! I never liked Charlie, and almost cheered his demise (is that bad?) Can't wait till they kill off that bug-eyed a$$ Ben! The thing about the 'flash-forward' is Jack's hair is all black, and on the island his hair had some grey in it, and his beard stubble (on the island) was really grey, but his beard in the ff was all black!

| At least we got to see Penny again in this episode.
