The race for quality has no finish line- so technically, it's more like a death march.

It's no secret.

Look for the newsgroup ---> alt.binaries.hdtv <--- but be aware that there are over two and a half million headers in this group (that is on the server I use). So make sure your newsreader client can handle that many or adjust accordingly. I found "Walkabout" about 500,000 headers in from current. Usenet should be much faster on the download since you will connect to a commercial server. Takes me about an hour to get all the parts to a 42 minute TV show on the server I use.

Yep!

I actually prefer to watch the downloaded file of a TV show.

The advantage of watching TV though is convenience. Nothing to do but turn on the TV and watch.

Only if they are not getting screwed over by From from the syndication of it.. I remember David Duchovny suing over that awhile back, I think around Season 6 or 7. You may be right about not needing to work, but I somehow doubt that is the case.. David still makes movies, but I haven't seen much from Gillian at all. THough I do hear they are starting to work on s X-files 2 movie which I hope sees the light of day! :wave2:

I don't think syndication money is all that great to begin with...if that were the case then Gary Coleman and the cast of the Brady Bunch would be millionares by now---which obviously is not the case

Only within the last ten years or so has the talent gotten into the aftermarket profits. Prior to ten years ago, most of them did not go for participation contracts. Very rarely did they get a participation clause in their contract. One of the first was *MASH*. One of the actors lives around here and he gets his check from the *MASH* people regularly. Somewhere in the world *MASH* reruns are playing.

Yea next weeks episode looks interesting to say the least. Not sure if I want it to go that direction or not, but nothing is as it seems by previews. I am very curious as to what Sawyer's story is going to be. I am guessing they are going to elaborate on that one or possibly Sayid's next week, and its about bloody time they did!

an interesting comment I saw posted on another forum....

Everyone who the show has covered so far was part of a pair that was supposed to be on that flight. Some of them didn't get the other half to go, some of the other halves didn't survive, but almost everyone at this point has a pair...except Hurley and Sawyer, whose backstories we haven't got yet. Think, Jack and his dad, Kate and the cop, the older woman and her husband, korean couple, brother and sister, Charlie and his brother, Michael and his son Walt, Locke and the woman on the phone (he bought a ticket for her remember?)

good observation...wonder if it means anything

Don't forget about the pregnant lady, she hasn't said anything about a significant other... Though I haven't seen her on in the last few weeks, so I wonder what is going on with her...

Alright checked it out this morning... I got 4 items(wire, metal, transciever, and medicine.) Also found a picture of Kate and a waterbottle. But can not get these items. Not sure what to do though. Found the boar hunt site, fuselage, beach, and the main site.. Kind of a neat site, reminds me of the metacortechs site when the Matrix was coming out....

tonights episode tells the backstory of Sawyer...and I hear that there is a great twist at the end which rivals the twist ending to Locke's story

Lost is doing great in the ratings as well...last week was the highest rated episode yet (#6 overall for the week)....this show is building momentum and not losing viewers!!
