Hmmm interesting point there Polonyc2. I never thought about that comic book part. I did catch on to the Dice rolling thing though. I do remember Locke saying to Charlie though that the Island will grant you something you desire if you are willing to give up something, or something to that effect. That was the episode when Charlie was going through his withdrawal spells and Locke confronted him.

Maybe that Island is a Corner Stone in a Bermuda Triangle phenomenon in the Pacific?

Like I know the answer to everything!! I have no idea I was just throwing out another theory.. Not all the stories have been told yet or if they have not all have been completed all the way(Jack for instance). The more I watch the show the more I like Sawyer though.

So Locke was leading them to another path. They wouldn't have found Charlie if Jack didn't go the other way. Or was it intentional that Charlie was to be found? But I figured if they wanted him dead, they could have done it already.

BTW, I don't think Sawyer was meant to be a bad guy. At least he got to kiss the girl. I think Jack will become a bad guy. He saw his dad and stuff. I think he will be converted into one of the island people.

And Hurley may not want to get out of the island because he lost too much money in gambling with the kid.

Jack was originally supposed to be killed off after the first few episodes but the writers changed that when the guy they wanted to play Jack (Michael Keaton) said No to the role...I'm still hearing that 1 of the major characters will be killed off before the end of the season (along with 1 or 2 minor characters)...speculation about who will die is centering around either Jack, Kate or Sawyer...

I doubt that Kate will be killed off and "Jack" is making all the talk show rounds. That leaves Sawyer. But, as much as I like Charlie, he has a weak role. Could be him. Locke????? If they kill off Locke I will probably stop watching. He is too strong of a character.

I agree that of all the characters Charlie is the weakest and one I would miss the least...his backstory was also the most uninteresting of all the survivors...they would not dare kill off Locke...and Kate is too hot to be killed off

That’s right. Hurley will be the last of the regulars to get a flashback episode. And he doesn’t get it until Jack, Kate, Charlie and likely Sawyer have had two. Series co-creator Damon Lindelof promised we’d get “a SHOCKER of a flashback” for young Hugo Reyes.
