Some people are still here, but yes, I think a lot of people have 'moved on'.

Re: Can I ask a stoopid question...............

I never ran away since cusl2.com: in fact, I come here everyday, but I post much less than before, because the subjects have become far less technical.

My join date is Feb 2001, but the "club" began several months sooner (let's say Xxx 2000) and I belonged to it. Due to a technical problem, join dates had to be reinitialized to Feb 2001 (if my memory is right); you won't find anyone whose join date is before Feb 2001.

Yeah, although I didn't actually join until 2001, this has been my homepage since 2000.

Re: Can I ask a stoopid question...............

I've been around a long time too. Technology has gotten kind of dull for me and it's hard to maintain interest. I still check in every once in a while though

Re: Can I ask a stoopid question...............

I joined in August of 2001 and spent a lot of time here, learnig about my new
CUSL-CBP. I learned alot about Computers, dabbled alittle in OCing, caught the upgrade fever and so forth. I came to relise I was never a major player here and right before I left, I had only logged about 1200 miles on my Bike and I usually log 15,000 miles a year. So I left and my computer became a door jamb for a while. I'm just now starting to get back into it, reading on how far technology had advance since my last upgrade to the P4B533.
It seems alittle creepy seeing just a few post a day........................

true...related to previous quote...the hard core tech guys are no longer here...and by that I mean the people with inherent knowledge of tech/hardware/software...not the guys who look everything up on 'Google Search' and claim to have said knowledge...its easy to spot the difference
