Catch Battlestar Galactica's premier last night?

I tend to peel off my fingernails while watching intense video entertainment. The third fingernail on my left hand is non-existent this morning.

Yes and I re-watched it this morning! So, is Kara the harbinger of doom as the hybrid claimed or is she the saviour? And have you noticed that Kara and Roslin both experience pain everytime they jump? What's with that?

I hadn't noticed that Roslin has jump pains. I need to watch the episode again.
As is par for the course, last night's episode was a mind-fracker.

I'm wondering if Baltar is really becoming a human being and thinking about someone other than himself. That scene where has told the guy with the razor at his neck to kill him was potent TV.

I liked the Anders scene. He's in the viper and goes to shoot the cyclon raider and his gun didn't work (the safety was on). The cylon eye turns on and his eye flashes red, sending a signal to the raider. The raider's eye turns off and it flies away. Then ALL of the cyclons retreat. I was laughing at that point. The other good scene is when they're examining Starbuck's viper - not a scratch or ding, it looks like it came from a show room although it has the same serial number and call sign. The data recorder is blank too. So this is another viper.

The explanation for Starbuck's return that I thought up was the cyclon's had another viper on remote control. The raider "grab" Starbuck's viper and jumped. The remote control viper kept going down and that was the viper the Apollo saw blow up. The cyclons had Starbuck for the 2 months and when they arrived at the nebula they let Starbuck go (after erasing her memory). Time will tell.

Mrs. TQ and I had some questions about this week's episode which we watched while on vacation in Ruidoso, NM.

First, we thought it odd that what was to be a three person mission for Kara to find the way back to Earth turned out to suddenly have on board a senior bridge officer and the Galactica's top fighter pilots. That just didn't make sense to us. Very unlike Adama. Not letting her go, just letting a lot of valuable crew members go with her.
Also, Kara was finally getting her way but was still being pissy about everything. As the kids say, double U tee eff?
And why did the four Cylons on Galactica have to call a secret meeting to tell the Chief to sit on Cally? That could have been done with a whisper in a hall way. It just seemed a conceit to set up her death that way. And how does it benefit this secret cadre of Cylons to have Tory space Cally in the first place? Hel-lO...isn't she going to be missed on the flight deck?

Instead of wrapping up this incredibly complicated storyline they keep opening up new ones and I have to wonder how - with so many threads open - they're going to wrap everything up in this, the final season.

Love the civil war going on among the Cylons, though. That's interesting stuff.
The Sixes should have guessed that Dean Stockwell was going to screw them, though. I mean, this was the guy that played Dr. Yueh in "Dune" and we know how that turned out.
