| I heard from them by email, and guess what they expect me to wait 60 days. That itself is a violation of North Dakota law, which states to the effect that 30days from the time one places an order/sends them the money they have to deliver the product. Computer Games Magazine is clearly in violation of North Dakota Law, where I live and hence forth I'm filing a comsumer fraud complaint against them.

| Before you file that formal complaint, check the contract/agreement you made when you bought the subscription, they probably got that "waitin' time" issue covered there. Its standard procedure to wait up to 2 months. Unax |

| ATINUT, you should have told us of the written contract you agreed to which modifies the North Dakota state statutes. __________________ Visit and chat with the AsusBuds at the #asusboards channel on EFnet Internet Relay Chat If you don't have it then download mIRC from www.mIRC.com |

| Well, delving into this nonsence, it appears that this company has East Coast and West Coast offices. I could not find an address on their website... Man I have too much time on my hands... Quote:

But seriously, it does take a while to get a subscription to go in to effect. That's why Computer Gaming World sends out their renewal (sp) forms 6 months in advance. They do that to make sure that you do not miss a mag. Also, remember its may the mag will say june. Maybe they mail all new subs out with the next mag. That could mean that it would or could take 6-7 weeks to receive your first mag. 1 week for them to receive the check. Say for example the most recent mag just went out. That would mean that you would have to wait another 4 weeks before the next mag goes out. Then, allow another week to receive the new one, and your looking at what, 6-7 weeks. So, what's your deal. Just sit back and relax. If you really want the current mag, then go and buy one!!!!! ![]()
