Do you own a GPS and like doing stuff outdoors?

When I bought my GPS about a year ago, I noticed something about geocache on it. I finally looked it up to see what it was about. Basically, someone hides something somewhere and gives the coordinates for it. You then have to find it using the coordinates. It can get a lot more in depth than that. You can read more at http://www.geocaching.com/.

You can also find natural occurances the same way. You can find that type of stuff at http://www.earthcache.org/.

Here is a list of different types. http://www.geocaching.com/about/cache_types.aspx

I wish I had thought about looking this stuff up earlier so I could have been looking for some of it.

Re: Do you own a GPS and like doing stuff outdoors?

Click on your user name in the upper right corner once you log in at geocaching.com. That should take you to your "my account details" page. There will be a section onlong the right side that says "account options." Some of the links will be "edit my profile" or "find another player." Click on "view my stat bar" and that will take you to your stat bar along with the code for using it on websites.
