Bofinn, , I like the story, been there done that, so i can relate, that is why my rum & coke now always sits EXACTLY 8 inches to my left, 6 inches south of my printer and always far enough away to give me RSUT , " reaction soak up time" before hitting any crucial comps.

Cheers

The more important question is did the beer survive?

I don't drink anymore, but I do know that my Microsoft Natural Pro keyboard really doesn't care much for a LARGE bowl of Cheerios... Kinda slows the button action a bit.
Later, CraigJS

A couple of weeks ago (on a Friday night) I hear my wife yelling expletives in the living room....I run from my office expecting a house fire, to find her pouring Crown royal and Coke OUT of her brand new Logitech Media Keyboard.......I unplugged it in a rush and headed for the shed.....I grabbed an aerosol can of contact cleaner and gave it a liberal soaking.....I'm thinking "what is that smell"? I held the can up to the light and read the label........."ENGINE DEGREASER" @##$%.......The stuff stunk just like diesel

This can't be too good methinks, so I calm down, go back in the house and get the rubbing alcohol ....I poured the whole bottle into the keyboard and blew it out with compressed air "which of course made the engine degreaser fly all over me making me stink like diesel too!

I wound up taking it completely apart the next day and separating the mylar circuit sheets and rewashing everything in alcohol (there are a lot of pieces in one of those puppies)

It stunk for a few days eeeech

The rubbing alcohol did the trick, I can't believe it still works! The degreaser did discolor the surface a little in a couple of spots tho...

BTW do they still make 3 in 1?
