i have now taken to drinking £6.20 protocol vodka, unlike JD it smells like car window cleaner (and tastes like it too) this is now drank in other peoples flats from a large fishbowl, wok, or dish that is large in size.

Anyways, I decided I would "clean up" one of my data drives at 3am.........

Apparently this was a mistake.....

Ah, the follies of youth. This thread and Bofinn's letter reminded me of a letter a friend and I wrote to Pabst Beer when I was young (we had beer but no computers then). I was working in a pizza and beer place haunted by students. Side note--now I am reminded about the time we found a bra in the urinal at closing time, but I digress. Pabst had installed a lighted display. It was a horse-drawn wagon and the wheels actually turned. The slogan was something like "Ensuring quality beer wherever it is needed." Leaving aside the questionable association of Pabst with "quality beer," we engaged in a different endeavor. This was at the time that preparation for the first manned flight to the moon was big in the news. We measured the wheels, timed the rotation and calculated how long it would take the wagon to reach the moon. We wrote to Pabst with this information and suggested that the guys who went to the moon probably would not be able to take beer with them, what with all the equipment and stuff necessary for their trip there and back. They would thus be in need of quality beer. Given the time the wagon would take to get there, they not only would the men have returned, but they and every person then alive would be dead by the time it arrived on the moon. We suggested they improve their delivery system.

We got back a form letter thanking us for our interest and telling us that our suggestion had been considered but was not something that could be undertaken at this time.

Didn't even get a free case of beer.

I hear ya!

I woke up one morning (after) , and there was puke in the kitchen sink, food stuck to the ceiling plus a terrible mess all over the house.

Damn those sambucca shots!

Convinced me not to never ever again have parties at my place!
