Maybe this should get moved to another forum, and we can respond appropriately. But, why would anyone post something like this. Sounds like he is still suffering from alcohol poisoning. ![]()

mate i woke up and found i found a second girlfriend once, the first wasn't impressed, actually i wish i was that slick. if it expensive claim it on the house insurance and say it was accidental (which it was), ask them if they replace broken printer they are usually pretty happy to replace it.

a letter that I really mailed in... May 20, 2001 Jack Daniel Distillery Route 1 Lynchburg, TN 37352 Dear Sir or Madam: Recently, I’ve had a devastating accident involving your fine sour mash whiskey, that good old No. 7 brand. Upset from this accident, I walked three houses down to my parent’s house. Explaining what happened to my father, he suggested I write you a letter. He had been drinking another brand all day, was completely hammered, yet his idea made some sense to me. I’m glad he wasn’t drinking Jack, or he might not have thought of it at all. Now I know on the side of the label it states, “Whiskey made as our fathers made it” – but they didn’t have computers back then, and Mr. Daniels surely could not have foreseen the future. Here is what happened to me: Enjoying my usual Saturday afternoon of computer gaming, I was enhancing my entertainment by making myself a few Jack N’ Cokes. Now I don’t like to get away from my computer to long, so I use a big glass, 16 oz. sized. I like placing my glass next to my keyboard, utilizing my Scooby-Doo mouse pad, so as not to get wet ring marks on my cheap computer furniture. Wanting to take my gaming experience to a new level, I had recently purchased some surround sound speakers. I successfully setup the top right speaker and commenced on the left side. While unraveling the cord, it got hung up on a tangle, and the speaker went flying off the top shelf. It landed directly on top of my newly made drink. As you probably can guess, the glass did not handle the speaker weight to my satisfaction. The glass exploded, sending shards of glass, Coca-Cola, and Jack Daniels flying in every direction. It happened so fast that I paused for second, before the devastation of what had just happened started sinking in. My keyboard, computer case, monitor, microphone, foot pedals (for racing games), and my new speaker were now a big dripping mess of brown sweet n’ sour liquid. I didn’t know what to be more upset about – almost ruining my computer, or wasting a perfectly good glass of J.D. It was the worst case of alcohol abuse I’ve ever seen! Oh the humanity… I’m so upset about this mess, that I’m kicking my oldest son out of his bedroom, so I can create a new computer room. He thought I was joking about this accident, but when he entered the room, the smell of Jack Daniels was convincing enough. He will move into the basement, which is ok with him, but it does flood with raw sewage at least twice a year. Yes, I do have medical insurance. I’d like to suggest you make an addition to your warning label on the back of the bottle. WARNING: Drinking alcoholic beverages while operating a computer may cause serious damage, including electrocution or even death. I truly believe Jack himself, would agree me. Sincerely, James R. Bofinn p.s. I’m drinking vodka and O.J. today, so you can be assured that I got the facts straight. I’d let my Dad proof read it, but he’s passed out drunk in his recliner chair again.
