Well I have heard that many people have 15 minutes of fame. Unfortunately, some of the "fame" is not the good variety.

Poor Kid.

Reminds me of that lady who had her name legally changed to "Obi Wan Kenobi" and then camped outside a theater for months for the opening of Phantom Menace.

The race for quality has no finish line- so technically, it's more like a death march.

That's sad. "A Boy Named Sue" was just a silly song. This is real life.

Reminds me of the time, many years ago, when I was on a business trip in the Bay area. Having breakfast one morning and the free-spirit couple in the adjoining booth is having normal conversation with their toddler daughter. Normal, except it turns out to be pretty awkward to include the name "Summer Dawn" in a sentence. You know, like "Eat your breakfast, Summer Dawn!"

Sheesh :-)

Watch that kid murder his parents in a decade or two... I would if my parents pretty much mocked my existance. By far the dumbest thing I've ever heard (the thought seems to be recuring lately....).

What an idiot. I'm pretty sure that wouldn't fly here in Denmark. We actually have a law preventing this kind of thing. One might argue that it's a parents choice what they want to name their kids but geez..... with parents that stupid I guess you DO need someone else too look out for your childs best interrest.

Been on vacation..... 2 weeks in South America (Suriname to be exact). Awesome weather . 30 degrees and hardly a drop of rain.

Got back about a week and a half ago.... to -5 degrees and snow . And well, work has been too busy to post during the daytime since then. Think I need another vacation.

It happened in the UK that parents called their child "not wanted", until laws made this kind of naming illegal.
