I agree, some of the meds can be worse than what your trying to cure.

Perspective slather.... The Vietnamese group... we will wait, we don't want to get in the way. The ones that stayed behind... yea, we OK, what's the big fuss?

Hey, thanks pal! Been working on sorting out the issue without resorting to "those Meds", which as you noted are generally worse than the initial problem!

You hang in there too... you've been doing that already though, haven't you? BTW, you're still in my prayers.

Yes... Thanks. It is easier now, time does heal. Not one to yell and shout, but if you have not read the whole thread, Was laid off two weeks ago, been layin low, preparing for the next garage sale, kind of a final resolution if you will. Then will take a bit of a vacation. Where, who knows.

Looks like a quiet Holiday evening to me... It's back to the Biz Zoo in the AM for me: I've already got a fair amount of work stacked up.

It's been too long since I've "hung out" here on the 'Boards, and it's nice to stop by & see all my online friends!

guiness, I've been where you are: laid off & wondering "What's next?" All I can offer is that you will likely find opportunities that you never expected or looked at: I certainly did. It's a painful readjustment, to be sure. I had issues regarding "self worth" for quite a while, even after getting my Biz up & running. Nobody can go through these things without doubts. I'd like to offer this... you are the best judge of "yourself". Don't sell yourself short, my friend. Either some employer is going to see your value, or you're going to find a way to fend for yourself. At your age (or mine

) this can be a great challenge, and you already have more than your share of burdens. Nevertheless, I know that your'e going to find your way through.

I also took a vacation to think things through in similar circumstances to yours, back in August of 2003. If you can, go visit someone that you can talk with: for me that was (and is) my brother in Seattle. And, if you want to talk, I'm here to listen... PM me anytime.
