| Good Evening/Morning, [ABX] I've been up late working on a client's Home-Office box. It seems a "family-member" has been surfing porn with it, to the point that it wouldn't boot into Windows at all. You've never SEEN so many errors on boot!  Repairs included a full reinstall of the OS (win98se  ), all mobo & hardware drivers, repair & reconfig of IE, and cleaning out all the trash. AdAware found TWO HUNDRED AND EIGHT criticals  : and Avast AV removed 4 Viruses. I had to bring the box home to fix it... client has nothing but dial-up, and I needed about 40MB of downloaded software to fix everything. Thank goodness for Broadband! I'm goiong to bill about $300.00 (+ new AV software)... the box has a ton of important technical data on it, and client thought it might all be gone. It's nice to know that I can still save a seriously FUBAR installation!
