I've geen doing some long-neglected chores today... getting all the dross dealt with before getting back to Biz in the AM... and getting back to skiing, ASAP! I've been looking at BMW Z3 coupes, too (NOT the convertible roadsters). I think I've discovered my next toy!
Hi SKI!...yes, indeed Sunday does seem to be "dross" day for me as well...the Z3 is becoming a bit more refined in appearance...nice choice...I confess the AudiTT has always held my attention a bit, but SUVs are a "work necessity" in the Interior Design trade, so....c'est la vie!

For some reason, I've fallen in love with the old coupes... only 4k or so were ever delivered in the USA, and they blow away the Roadsters (convertibles) in terms of handling AND practicality. See http://www.z3roadster.com/ for a bit of info regarding the coupes.

IKWYM about SUVs... I'm using a '93 Trooper for my biz (and everything else, for that matter ). Unlike most SUV users, I've put AT LEAST 500 miles of 4WD ops on mine in the last year. Not as much as Terri used to do, but still a fair amount of driving off-pavement & in snow.

Time to get back to the remaining chores...

That's a cool looking ride SKI...

I haven't seen that one around much...is it still a rear wheel drive?
I still prefer those myself...they take a little discipline to drive, but are more fun...

Hiya Ozzie, Chris, Sammy. bajo!

Yep, Ozzie, it's a rear-wheel drive... If I can find one of the 3.2L "M" versions, we're talking about 315 HP in a car that weghs in @ under 3K Lbs before modifications.

These babies are some kind of serious sports-cars! I've finally found something that I prefer over most Porsche Super Carerras...

BTW, and a bit OT, congrats on the new 4-leg "family member', Chris!

IMHO. "rescue dogs" are the best... My rescued (sp?) Labrador has been living with me for going on 6 years now, and he's one of my 10 closest friends!

I didn't know there were lab rescue dogs. What was he rescued from?

My old dog (one in my avatar) was a lab mix.

My story (and that of my pal) is a bit different from yours. He (the Lab) was slated to be put down, 3rd return to the ASPCA kennels, when I discovered him. As best I can tell, I'm "owner" #5. Apparently everyone before me either couldn't handle a 70+ Lb dog, or was abusive... I won't describe how fearful he was when I first brought him home, other than to say that I'd LOVE to "return the favor" to the people in question.

Mind you, we're talking about an AKC registered pure-bred "Yellow" Labrador Retreiver with full papers. He's my constant companion these days, and my grand-childrens' favorite playmate.

Often these things turn out VERY well.. ...dogs are like that.
