Greetings from a cold and windy London.

Skully - thanks for the thoughts - I could be around elsewhere on the Boards seeking help from the Great and the Good

as I have never set up a RAID before.

That said, everything else I have tried with an ASUS mobo from the good ol' CUSL2 (yeh, I know, showing my age

) up to this one has been pretty straight forward, so my fingers are well and truly crossed.

RAID isn't to hard, I'm set-up with raid. Also I'm running a 4800x2 cpu.

Thanks Skully - my fingers are well and truly crossed. I was going to kick off the install last night but couldn't find the mobo box with the SATA leads in it. Off to the shops at lunchtime...

Has anyone heard from Geoff for a while - or is he just away on a break?

LOL yesterday I forgot to connect the extra CPU fan and after a couple of minutes

heatsink became a boiler!
