Writing as in a "How-To" article, Wingit... Networking, of course! I did write Poetry 'way back when, but now I'm interested in writing about Tech. As for the "Renaissance Syndrome", you have no idea! I once had a girlfriend tell me to NOT talk about all the stuff I've done over the years, as most of her friends just couldn't believe my breadth of activity.

Personally, I've always believed that an intelligent person can turn his/her hand to most ANYTHING, if they're sufficiently motivated. How can you figure out what you want to do with your life, unless you TRY stuff?

Hi Bros Skully & FB!

Hi Bros Skully & FB!
Right on! My belief is that up there in the thing called brain we have the know how stored at birth. Schools exercise you to bring it out. Yes there are people who do not like it when you match their abilities after they went to a college to "learn" and you just do it even better than them. Full respect to those who go to schools to learn things and I encourage it. But then again you cannot go to all the schools, but there are a lot of things out there to do.

I seldom pay to have things done, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, masonry etc. I was trained for white collar jobs but can handle myself in many others.

Never place all your eggs in one basket.

I'm not suprised that you guys feel this way (Tapir & Wingit, and of course many other ABX'ers)! Why do you think I've been here so long? Kindred Spirits!

Don't forget that this attitude is keeping us young, too!
